السيدات والسادة،

أبطال ورجال القوات المسلحة المصرية الباسلة،

شعب مصر العظيم،

أتقدم إليكم بخالص التهنئة.. فى الذكرى الخمسين.. لانتصار السادس من أكتوبر عام ١٩٧٣.. عيـد القـوات المـسلحة .. يوم حولت مصر الجرح وآلامه.. إلى طاقة عمل عظيمة.. عبرت بها الحاجز الذى كان منيعا.. بين الهزيمة والنصر.. وبين الانكسار والكبرياء .. وأزالت بعقول وسواعد أبنائها.. جميع أسوار الحصار واليأس .. لتنطلق.. حاملة مشاعل الأمل والنور.. للشعب المصرى.. والأمة العربية.

إن فى هذا النصر الفريد.. ما يستوجب الوقوف أمامه لسنوات، بل لعقود وعقود، للتعلم والتدبر.. قيم عندما حضرت.. حضر النجاح والتفوق: التخطيط العلمى.. المحكم الدقيق.. الذى لا يترك شيئاً إلا وتحوط له بما يلزم .. التنسيق المنظم.. الذى يستغل جميع القدرات والإمكانات، فيصـل بأداء المنظومـة إلـى أعلــى درجاتـها.. والتنفيذ المنضبط.. الراقى فى أدائه.. والمبهر فى نظامه وترتيبه .. والروح الوطنية القتالية.. التى استعانت على التحدى الهائل، بالمخزون الحضارى العميق.. للأمة المصرية.. من القوة والبأس.. والثقة بالذات .. وقبل كل ذلك، وبعده، كان الإيمان بالله.. إيمان الواثقين العارفين.. بأن نصر الله قريب.. يكافئ به المخلصين المجتهدين.. أصحاب القضايا العادلة.

شعب مصر العظيم،

إن كل هذه القيم والمبادئ والصفات.. تجسدت فى الإنسان المصرى.. فى قواتكم المسلحة.. الباسلة.. البارة بوطنها.. جيل أكتوبر العظيم.. الذى ارتفعت قامته، فوق ارتفاع المحنة وأثبت مجددا.. أن لمصر، رجالا فى كل عصر.. يعرفون قدرها العظيم.. وقادرون دائما.. بإذن الله.. على صون الوطن.. ورفعته.

تحية احترام وتقدير.. من شعب مصر العظيم.. لقواته المسلحة الوفية.. لدورها الوطنى المقدر.. فى الحرب والسلم لإخلاصها الدائم.. واحترافيتها المتميزة.. واستعدادها.. لجميع التحديات التـى تواجـه الوطـن.

وتحية من القلب للزعيم القائد.. محمد أنور السادات.. البطل.. الذى استشهد فى نصب السلام.. بعد أن كلل جبينه.. بشرف الحرب من أجل الوطن.. تحية له.. ولشهداء مصر الأبرار.. فى حرب أكتوبر.. الذين ارتوت أرض هذا الوطن العزيز.. بدمائهم الغالية.. وسطروا أسماءهم.. خالدة.. فى دواوين الشرف والبطولة.

شعب مصر الكريم،

إن سيناء، أمانة غالية فى أعناقنا جميعا نحن المصريين.. استعدناها بثمن مرتفع.. وقدمنا من أجلها تضحيات جليلة.. وبات علينا.. واجب تعميرها وتنميتها.. بما يتناسب مع طموحنا العظيم لوطننا.. وهو ما بدأنا فيه بالفعل.. بحجم أعمال لم تشهده من قبل .. فتم إنفاق مئات المليارات من الجنيهات.. وهو إنفاق مهما زاد.. لا يعوضنا قطرة دم من دماء أبنائنا الطاهـرة.. التـى سالت فوق هذه الأرض الغالية..

سواء لاستردادها من الاحتلال.. أو تطهيرها من الإرهاب.. وهى الحرب الأخيرة.. التى امتدت أكثر من عشر سنوات كاملة.. وسيأتى اليوم.. الذى نقص فيه بالكامل.. روايتها.. ليعرف الجميع.. أن المصريين عازمون.. على الاحتفاظ بكل ذرة رمال.. فى بلادهم.. وتنمية مواردها وتطويرها والانطلاق بمصر.. من خلال بناء مقومات القوة الشاملة.. اقتصاديا وتكنولوجيا وتنمويا.. لتصل مصر بإذن الله.. وفى وقت ليس بالبعيد.. إلى المكانة.. التى يصبو إليها شعبها العظيم.. وتتسق مع تاريخها المجيد.

فى الختام.. أتوجه إليكم بالتحية مجددا.. كل عام وأنتم بخير، ومصر والأمة العربية، والإنسانية كلها، فى ســلام واســتقرار وازدهـــار.

President El-Sisi’s Speech Marking 50th Anniversary of October War Victory

Ladies and gentlemen,

The heroes and men of the valiant Egyptian Armed Forces,

The great people of Egypt,

I extend my sincere greetings to you on the 50th anniversary of the victory of October 6, 1973, the day of the Armed Forces, the day Egypt turned wounds and pains into a great drive for work, crossing the invincible barrier between defeat and victory, between desolation and pride.

With the assistance of the intellect and strength of its sons, it was able to tear down the walls of siege and despair to set out and carry the torches of hope and light for the Egyptian people and the Arab nation.

In this unique victory, there are moments that require reflecting upon for years, even for decades and decades, to learn and to contemplate.

Values, when summoned, success and excellence are present: precise and accurate scientific planning that brings upon organized coordination and leverages all the capabilities and potential, driving the system’s performance to its highest level and disciplined implementation, with its sophisticated performance and impressive system and arrangement. The national fighting spirit overcame the enormous challenge by the deep cultural reserve of the Egyptian nation of strength, courage, and confidence, and above all, faith in God; the faith of the confident, certain that God’s victory was near, rewarding the faithful and diligent, those who had just causes.

The great people of Egypt,

All these values, principles and qualities were embodied in the Egyptian persona, in your vigilant Armed Forces, serving the homeland, the great October generation, who transcended adversity and proved once again that Egypt has men in every era, who are well aware of its great value and are always able, God willing, to preserve the homeland and its advancement.

A tribute of respect and appreciation from the great people of Egypt to their loyal Armed Forces for their esteemed national role in war and peace, for their constant loyalty, distinguished professionalism and their readiness for all the challenges facing the nation. Heartfelt greetings to the leader Mohammad Anwar El-Sadat, the hero who was martyred at the Peace Memorial, after crowning his efforts with the honor of war for the homeland. A salute to him and to the righteous martyrs of Egypt in the October War, who watered the land of this dear country with their precious blood and had their names inscribed immortal in the books of honor and heroism.

The honorable people of Egypt,

Sinai is a precious trust entrusted to us, Egyptians. The cost at which we regained it was high. We made great sacrifices for it. Now, we have a duty to rebuild and develop it in a manner consistent with our great ambition for our homeland. We already started by an unwitnessed scale of work. Hundreds of billions of pounds spent. Yet, no amount of expenditure can compensate for a drop of our sons’ pure blood that spilled over this precious land, whether at the time of regaining it from occupation or purging it from terrorism. The latter extended for more than 10 full years.

The day will come when we fully narrate its tale, in order for everyone to know that the Egyptians are determined to preserve every grain of sand in their country, develop its resources and advance Egypt by building the components of comprehensive power, economically, technologically and developmentally for Egypt to soon reach, God willing, the status to which its great people aspire and that befits its glorious history.

In conclusion, I once again extend my greetings to you, wishing Egypt, the Arab nation, and the entire humanity peace, stability, and prosperity.
