BADREE Association for Charitable Development and Rehabilitation hosted the Swiss Foundation DEAR. The event was attended by the President of BADREE Association, Dr. Abeer Al-Salahat and the Honorary President of the Association, Mr. Hassan Wahdani. in addition to representatives from the DEAR Foundation, headed by the President of the Foundation’s Board Ms. Sonja Dinner and the CEO of the Foundation, Ms. Sevim Araz accompanied by the president of the BETA Association in Palestine, Ms. Basima Al-Jagoub. During the meeting, Dr. Abeer Al-Salahat spoke about the association’s efforts in combating breast cancer in Jordanian society. She pointed out that the association works to educate women about the importance of periodic examinations and early diagnosis of this disease, in addition to providing psychological and moral support to patients and their families. Al-Salahat added that we cannot deny that the comprehensive support of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah for the women’s sector, as it has had a significant impact in alleviating the amount of suffering women in society. The honorary president of BADREE Association, Mr. Hassan Wahdani, insisted that the Swiss Foundation’s visit to the association’s headquarters has a major and direct role in cooperating in supporting projects related to fighting cancer in the region, which constitutes a large population growth and needs support in confronting the difficulties facing women. In turn, Ms. Sona Denner expressed her happiness in cooperating with BADREE Association in this vital field, emphasize that her organization is committed to supporting women’s communities and working on spreading awareness about cancer diseases and the importance of prevention and early detection. This meeting between the BADREE Association and the DEAR Foundation is considered an important opportunity to enhance cooperation between Jordanian and Swiss charities, and exchange experiences and knowledge in the field of combating cancer and supporting patients and their families. BADREE Association hopes to achieve positive results that will benefit the community in which it works.
