السيسي يستقبل وزير الخارجية الإسباني “خوسيه مانويل ألباريس”

وصرح المستشار د. أحمد فهمي المتحدث الرسمي باسم رئاسة الجمهورية أن وزير الخارجية الإسباني نقل للسيد الرئيس تحيات وتقدير الملك فيليب السادس ملك إسبانيا، ورئيس الوزراء “بيدرو سانشيز”، وهو ما ثمنه السيد الرئيس مبادلاً التحية والتقدير للملك ورئيس الوزراء الإسباني، ومؤكداً اعتزاز مصر بقوة العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين، والحرص على مواصلة أطر التعاون القائمة وتوسيعها، خاصةً ما يتعلق بتعزيز التبادل التجاري والتعاون التنموي والاستثماري.

وذكر المتحدث الرسمي أن اللقاء ركز على مستجدات الأوضاع الإقليمية، حيث أعرب وزير الخارجية الإسباني عن تقدير بلاده وأوروبا لمكانة مصر كقوة إقليمية رشيدة تعمل من أجل السلام والاستقرار في الشرق الأوسط ومنطقة البحر المتوسط، منوهاً وجه الخصوص للدور المصري المسئول منذ بداية الأزمة في قطاع غزة، وحرصها على دفع التهدئة ووقف إطلاق النار وتبادل المحتجزين، فضلاً عن موقفها القيادي عالمياً بالتصدي لإدخال المساعدات الإنسانية للقطاع رغم العراقيل الشديدة في هذا الصدد.

وذكر المتحدث الرسمي أن السيد الرئيس ثمن من جانبه الموقف الإسباني المتوازن من الأوضاع الإقليمية، خاصة موقفها الداعم للحقوق الفلسطينية العادلة وإرساء السلام والأمن المستدامين بالمنطقة، وأكد الجانبان رفض التصعيد العسكري في القطاع، وحذرا من أية عمليات عسكرية في رفح الفلسطينية لما ستسببه من عواقب إنسانية وخيمة، كما أكدا رفض جميع الإجراءات التي قد تؤدي إلى تصفية القضية الفلسطينية عبر تهجير الفلسطينيين خارج أراضيهم، مشددين على ضرورة الوقف الفوري لإطلاق النار، وإدخال المساعدات الإغاثية بالكميات الكافية للقطاع لإنقاذه من المأساة الإنسانية التي يواجهها، وكذا ضرورة دعم وكالة الأونروا ليتسنى لها القيام بدورها الإنساني في هذا الإطار، مع تأكيد ضرورة اتخاذ خطوات واضحة وملموسة من قبل المجتمع الدولي، للاعتراف بالدولة الفلسطينية وحصولها على العضوية الكاملة في الأمم المتحدة، بما يفتح المجال لتفعيل حل الدولتين، باعتباره الأساس لاستعادة الأمن والاستقرار الإقليميين.

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares. The

meeting was also attended by Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry.

Spokesman for the Presidency, Counselor Dr. Ahmed Fahmy, said Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed the greetings and appreciation of King of Spain Felipe VI and Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez to President El-Sisi. The President reciprocated the greetings and appreciation, emphasizing that Egypt values its robust bilateral relations with Spain and is committed to further strengthening and expanding the ongoing cooperation, particularly in trade and developmental and investment collaboration.

The meeting focused on regional developments. Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his country as well as Europe’s appreciation of Egypt’s status as a wise regional power working toward promoting peace and reinforcing stability in the Middle East and Mediterranean regions. He particularly pointed out Egypt’s responsible role since the beginning of the crisis in Gaza, and its unyielding efforts to promote calm, an urgent ceasefire, and an exchange of hostages and detainees, as well as its leadership role, internationally, in addressing the challenges encountering the delivery of humanitarian aid and relief to the Gaza Strip, despite the severe and stringent obstacles imposed.

President El-Sisi commended Spain’s balanced stance with regard to regional issues, especially its support for Palestinian rights, and the establishment of sustainable peace and security in the region. Both sides reiterated their rejection of the military escalation in the Gaza Strip and warned against any military operations in the Palestinian city of Rafah due to the expected catastrophic humanitarian consequences. They categorically rejected all measures conducive to the liquidation of the Palestinian issue through the forced displacement of Palestinians from their lands. The two sides reiterated the imperative need for an urgent and immediate ceasefire and for providing access to sufficient humanitarian aid to the sector to alleviate the humanitarian crisis, and underscored the importance of supporting UNRWA to carry out its humanitarian role. President El-Sisi and Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs also stressed the need for clear and tangible steps by the international community to recognize the Palestinian state and grant it full membership of the United Nations, as a basis for the implementation of the two-state solution and restoring regional security and stability.
